Hiren Boot CD is a rescue software for your PC. If your PC is not responsive or crashed or having any hardware issues this is very best tool for these purposes you can also scan for viruses with this tool. It is a bootable tool which can run from the BIOS of your PC. In this tutorial I am going to tell you that how you can use this tool with Bootable USB instead of Disk.
Requirements:
1. USB Stick – 4 GB( minimum ) ; 8 GB is recommended. ( Need a USB stick? Visit our usb flash drive online store )
2. Hiren’s BootCD ( See Resources Section #1 )
3. GRUB4Dos ( See Resources Section #2 )
4. Power ISO ( See Resources Section #3 )
Instructions:
Step 1
Download the HIREN boot CD tool from its website. It is freeware you don’t need to buy it. It is a bootable CD image.
Step 2
Now connect your USB stick with your PC.
Step 3
Download a tool USB format and run it.
Step 4
First select your USB and then select file system which should be FAT 32.
Step 5
Press start and wait for completely formatting your USB.
Step 6
Download GRUB4Dos.zip and run it as administrator. Select your USB in disk and select MBR at part list and press Install.
Step 7
Now mount HIREN boot image on virtual CD with the help of Power ISO.
Step 8
Copy all of the contents of HIREN boot cd to USB drive.
Step 9
Copy GLDR and MENU.List in USB from GRUB4Dos folder.
Step 10
You are done.
